Top 5 Food Ideas for Cooking with the Kids!

Step 1: Line a baking tray with some baking paper

Step 2: Grab 2 delicious bananas and peel them and cut them in half, insert a paddle pop stick into the end before placing them on the tray and freezing for 2 hours

Step 3: When your bananas are frozen, melt together 1 ¼ cup of chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of coconut oil.

Step 4: Grab your bananas and dip them into the melted chocolate, for extra fun you can then add some sprinkles!

Step 5: Place the bananas back on the tray and into the fridge for about 15 minutes just until the chocolate is set

Step 6: Get your delicious treats from the fridge and ENJOY!

Adding a fun twist to sandwiches!

Step 1: Grab a few slices of bread an cut off all of the crusts, or a tortilla wrap

Step 2: Cut the piece of bread in half (not diagonally)

Step 3: Add the toppings, we chose to add some ham, cheese and lettuce YUM!

Step 4: Roll up the long sandwich into a roll like a snail shell, place a toothpick in the middle to secure and ENJOY!

Step 1: Grab some wooden skewers and choose your selection of delicious fruit

Step 2: Cut the top piece of fruit into a triangle (as pictured below) and the bottom piece of fruit into a fire shape (also picture below)

Step 3: Cut up your remaining fruit however you like

Step 4: Start by placing the fire shaped piece on the skewer and sliding it to the bottom, place all of your favorite fruits above that and finally top it off with your triangle piece of fruit so it looks like a rocket! YUM!

Step 1: Grab a few pieces of bread, however many pizzas you want.

Step 2:

Add your toppings, we recommend

-pizza sauce

-pepperoni

-cheese

Step 3: Place under the grill until the bread is nice and toasty and your cheese is melted

Step 4: Cut in half and ENJOY!

Shhhh! This is the recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever eat!

ingredients:

125g of butter

¾ cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup caster sugar

2 tablespoons golden syrup

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 egg

1 ½ cups of plain flour (add more if needed)

¼ teaspoon baking soda

⅓ teaspoon salt

¾ cup of chocolate chips, m&ms or whatever filling you like!

Instructions:

step 1: Preheat oven to 175℃, microwave butter for 30 seconds to just barely melt it

step 2: Beat the butter and brown and caster sugar together until creamy, add in the golden syrup, vanilla and egg, beat lightly until mixed

step 3: Add the flour, baking soda and salt, mixing with  a spatula or spoon until combined. If needed add a teaspoon of extra flour if the batter is too sticky.

step 4: Fold in the chocolate chips

step 5: Scoop out 18-20 balls and arrange them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, you can also add some extra chocolate chips on top of the cookies.

step 6: Bake for 10-11 minutes, the cookies will be pale and slightly puffed up but golden on the edges.

step 7: Remove from over and allow to cool for 30 minutes and then ENJOY!!
